Dark Chocolate Easter Egg Brownies

It’s Easter! That means CHOCOLATE! 🍫🍫 These ridiculously tasty brownies are to DIE for… We’ve also included our Aloe Vera supplement to make sure they are also giving you a little gut health boost to counter act this weekend’s indulgence 😜
What you’ll need (makes 9 slices):
1 cup oats
½ cup ground almonds
½ cup coconut sugar
¼ cup ground flaxseed
½ cacao powder
¼ cup almond butter
¼ cup cacao butter, melted
2 medjool dates
3-4 tbsp Simplee Aloe Supplement
A handful of walnuts
For the topping:
8 mini dark chocolate easter eggs, crushed
A sprinkle of walnuts
Melted dark chocolate (optional)
Place the oats into a food processor and process until a fine flour forms. Add in the almonds, flaxseed and cacao powder and process for 30 seconds.
Add in the almond butter, cacao butter, medjool dates and aloe supplement. Process until a dough forms. Throw in a handful of walnuts, then pulse a couple of times until the walnuts are roughly chopped.
Press the mixture into a lined 9×9 square pan. Top the brownie with the crushed easter eggs and walnuts. Refrigerate for 20 minutes, before slicing and serving.
Alternatively, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the brownies and then serve.
