Apple Pie Porridge

January SUCKS but you can make it better with some delicious and warming Apple Pie Porridge! Apples are currently in season making this recipe extra succulent 😝 See recipe below! #AloeEveryday

Ingredients for 2 bowls:

1 cup oats
½ cup unsweetened apple puree
1 ½ cup Simplee Aloe Aloe Vera Juice with Grape
1-2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp cinnamon


A spoonful of almond butter
A few toasted pecans
Drizzle of maple syrup
Cooked apple slices (cooked in 2 tbsp coconut sugar + 2 tbsp water)


Put the oats into a small pan along with the apple puree, aloe vera juice drink, flaxseed and cinnamon
Place the pan over a medium to high heat and bring to the boil, then simmer for 5-10 minutes, until it reaches your desired consistency, stirring often to prevent sticking
Divide the porridge between two bowls and serve with the toppings
For the cooked apple slices, heat the water and coconut sugar in a small frying pan. Once hot, add in the apple and cook for 5 minutes, or until soft
